Internal Transfer

As the goal of Singularity is to protect commercial confidentiality with every on-chain action, we enabled the ability to transfer internally to other Singularity users.

The transfer is done with the assumption that the two parties are familiar with one another and have agreed upon the transfer amount.

Here’s a step-by-step guide alongside a video tutorial on how to transfer:

  1. Firstly, ensure you have selected ‘Transfer’ on the left-hand side

  1. The sender has two fields they need to fill in. One is the secret note which represents the agreed-upon transfer amount and the second is the receiver code provided by the recipient.

  2. The receiver code is something that the receiver needs to generate on their own. This is how:

    1. In the top-right ensure you have selected “I am a receiver” you should be looking at the image shown below

    2. Select ‘Generate Code’ to create the receiver code as well as the private note that will be the code that will represent the amount of cryptocurrency being sent

  1. The receiver will then send the one-off code to the sender for them to input it into the following screen

  1. The sender will then hit continue and the transfer should be complete

  2. The private note the receiver generated initially now holds the transferred amount. The receiver can use the secret note to continue with onchain transactions or withdraw.
