How to Make a Trade on Testnet

Follow these steps to execute a private trade on the DarkSwap darkpool.

Step 1 – Open the DarkSwap Interface

• Visit the DarkSwap

  • Open either:

    • The Web UI, or

    • The Desktop App (recommended for advanced users)

• Set your wallet network.

• Connect your wallet using WalletConnect, MetaMask, or another supported option.

Step 2 – Place an Order

When placing an order, you will specify the following:

• Trading Pair Example: ETH/USDC .

• Order Size The amount you want to buy or sell.

• Order Type & Limit Price (See the section “Order Types” for full details.)

• Time-in-Force Options include:

  • GTC (Good Till Cancelled)

  • IOC (Immediate or Cancel)

  • FOK (Fill or Kill)

  • Others depending on the release

After confirmation, your order is privately submitted to the DarkSwap matching engine.

Step 3 – Withdraw to a Public Address (Optional)

When you want to move assets back to the public ecosystem:

1. Click “Withdraw”

2. Choose the destination public address

3. Confirm the withdrawal in your wallet

Settlement is executed on-chain while keeping your trading activity private.
